Terms and Conditions

Damages & Discrepancy Claims

  • Sometimes damages & discrepancies do occur and can be out of our direct control (particularly during shipping). 
  • Any damages or faults must be reported directly to Designer Boys within 24 hours of signing for the goods, otherwise the transit insurance will become invalid (and Designer Boys will not be liable for replacements). If you are unable to do this, you will need to select acrylic (instead of glass) for your artworks to minimise the risk of breakage or our Premium Delivery Service.
  • NOTE: no repairs / replacements of damaged artworks will be offered if you fail to report damages within 24 hours of receiving the goods (as the insurance is null & void after 24 hours).

General Information

  • All orders are pro-forma. Goods will be dispatched on receipt of full payment only.
  • All prices quoted exclude freight and GST unless specifically stated otherwise;
  • Most of our frames are produced by hand. There may be variations in colour and finish - these are part of the design process and are not considered flaws.
  • Free frame samples are available on request. We highly recommend that customers confirm their product selection using a frame selection. Variation of the colour of a frame and/or print from its online representation is not considered a defect. Although significant effort is made to accurately represent the frame or print colour online, the actual presentation of the product will vary because of the difficulty in photographing certain frames, textural embellishments & prints, the screen used to view the product as well as differences in lighting. 
  • We reserve the right to make minor alterations without prior notification.
  • All transactions are processed in AUD$.
  • Designer Boys Pty Ltd are located at Tenancy 1, 40-42 O'Riordan Street Alexandria NSW 2015. We can be contacted at admin@designerboys.com.au or 07 5455 6024.
  • Our products may not be marketed on third party websites such as Amazon, eBay, etc (unless approved by Designer Boys Art).

Production Time

  • Print & Textural Artworks - allow 5-7 business days plus shipping (if all components are in stock).
  • Luxe Canvas Artworks - allow 10-14 business days plus shipping
  • Custom Mirrors - allow 10-14 business days plus shipping
  • Platinum Canvas Artworks  - 5 - 7 weeks
  • Urgent orders on request.
  • Every artwork is custom made in our Australian studio and is not an imported fully framed stock item. 

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times are subject to variation based on the size, composition, and delivery location of your order. For orders delivered to metropolitan areas, the estimated delivery time is between 2 to 7 business days. For orders shipped to Western Australia and all regional areas, the estimated delivery time is between 7 to 14 business days. These timeframes are approximate and may be affected by factors such as weather conditions, logistics, and stock availability.

Delivery 

Standard Delivery Service

  • Our standard delivery is a basic ‘drop & go’ courier service with Aramax (formerly Fastway).

  • Aramax will deliver your art to a specified delivery address during business hours only. The couriers are unable to contact clients prior to delivery and specific delivery times cannot be scheduled. This is why we offer this service as an affordable delivery option.

  • Designer Boys will email shipping confirmation details to you with your Aramex tracking information.
  • Please report any damages or faults to Designer Boys within 24 hours of signing for the goods, otherwise the transit insurance will become invalid.

  • If you are unable to check your artworks and/or report damages to Designer Boys within 24 hours of receipt, we recommend you reselect our high quality acrylic (instead of glass) to minimise the risk of breakage or upgrade to our new Premium Delivery Service.

Premium Delivery Service

  • Our new ‘bespoke’ delivery service is for those clients who want a greater delivery experience compared to our Standard courier service. There is an additional charge for this premium service.
  • We are now working with a specialist delivery company (TLC Transport) to deliver our artworks to clients along the East Coast only.
  • TLC will contact you or your client to arrange delivery on their nominated delivery days. At their discretion, their team may carefully unpack your artworks (leaving the cardboard corners on each piece for protection before hanging) and remove all rubbish at no cost to you. This service is subject to local COVID restrictions and company policies. All steps are taken with care and pride to ensure that any damages are avoided. Please inspect all deliveries before signing to accept the order.
  • Areas of operation includes: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Tweed, North Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Albury, Wodonga, Geelong, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
  • We are currently unable to offer premium delivery to Adelaide, Perth, Far North Queensland and regional areas
  • NOTE FOR ALL DELIVERIES: Designer Boys cannot be held responsible for late or failed deliveries for reasons outside our control e.g. third-party couriers / freight companies or in the case of adverse weather conditions / covid restrictions.

Freight Charges
  • Freight charges are additional and are borne by the purchaser.

Credit Card Surcharges

  • Designer Boys Pty Ltd charges no surcharge on all credit cards for any online purchase. 

International Orders

  • International orders cannot purchase via the checkout. Cost of delivery to all international buyers can be discussed by contacting Designer Boys Art at admin@designerboys.com.au or +61 7 5455 6024.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations and amendments can only be accepted before full payment is received. We do not issue refunds. 

General Care

  • It is recommended that all artworks are displayed under indirect lighting conditions and away from any contact with moisture, high levels of humidity and in areas where there are changes in temperature (ie. when the air conditioning is turned off and on). Do not display artwork in the direct sun, in humid conditions, above fireplaces/gas heaters and near air conditioning units where the flow of air can directly affect the artwork.

XL Prints

  • All of our XL Prints have acrylic and not glass. 

Returns

  • Returns are not accepted other than for defects or as required under law. We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Respectfulness

  • Please show the utmost respect to the Designer Boys team. This means being realistic with your expectations, including being reasonable & fair to consult with.
  • Every effort is made to ensure your customer service experience and product quality is achieved to the best of our ability. Sometimes issues can occur and/or there maybe freight issues associated with a third party that is out of control. 
  • Designer Boys will not liaise with a trade customers end client. Trade customers are responsible for managing their client's expectations and issues.

Disclaimer

  • Many of our textural artworks you see in this website are created from natural materials and are handcrafted. As a result variations in colour, texture, size and finish to occur. They are not considered flaws but, instead, become part of the attraction of each piece.
  • Designer Boys does not guarantee and accepts no legal liability arising from or connected to any reduction in the quality, colour fading or the occurrence of mildew or mould or any other damage arising from the site conditions under which the artworks are displayed and over which it has no control. 

Liability

  • The Purchaser uses the services and products supplied by this site as the purchasers risk. Designer Boys Collections makes no warranties of any kind unless otherwise stated. Designer Boys Collections is not liable for damages stemming from the use of this site and its purchased products. 

Limited Warranty

  • Designer Boys warrants its products for up to 6 months only from date of sale against manufacturing faults which are determined at Designer Boys discretion. Designer Boys does not warranty against any damages / deterioration that may occur due to site conditions or mishandling in which it has no control.

General Care

  • It is recommended that the artwork is displayed under indirect lighting conditions and away from any contact with moisture, high levels of humidity and heat from gas heaters for example. Do not display the artworks in the direct sun or in humid conditions. Silver and gold frames may corrode in salt air and therefore it is highly recommended not to choose these frame options for coastal homes.
